  • Turn in reading logs no later than July 31, 2021.

Children’s Events

 

July 24 All day: Recyclable Maker Station- Bring your young inventors to the library and use our stash of recycled material and maker supplies to create something great!

 

July 31 from 10am-Noon: Storytime in the Park- Join us at the Plumb Pavilion for Water Storytime! Learn about the water cycle with stories, crafts and more!

 

Aug 14 from 10am-Noon: Storytime in the Park- Join us at the Plumb Pavilion for Storytime with Magic Mark!  Following our story, Illusionist Magic Mark will perform a show for all ages!


 

Family Events

July 17 from 1pm-3pm: Tie Dye in the Park- Stop by the City Park pavilion (across from the post office) with your choice of fabric to try tie dyeing!  Each participant must provide their own fabric article (t-shirt, bandanna, apron, etc) to dye. We will provide all other materials.

 

Aug 12-13 All day: Book Fair- We’re bringing back a childhood favorite for the whole family! Stop by the library to browse a wide selection of used books, DVDs, and novelties.  All proceeds help support the future operations of the library.  Plus, sign up to win a Back to School Backpack full of school supplies!


Teen Events

 

July 15 from 3-5pm: Teen STEAM- Come to the library to learn how to design and build your own Rube Goldberg machine with Woodland School teacher Melissa Fink! It will be a fun and exciting program that you don’t want to miss!  For teens ages 13-19


 

July 23 from 6pm-8pm: After Hours Laser Tag- Sign up for a special After Hours Laser Tag night!  Gear up as the library lights go down for rounds of fun laser tag games!  Sign up is required and each participant will need to have a completed Parent/Guardian permission form to participate.

 

July 27 from 3-5 pm: Rainbow Heart Painting- Grab a spot for our Rainbow Heart Painting day!  Each participant will receive a heart plaque to paint in their choice of colors. Seats are limited, and sign up is required.


 

Adult Events

 

July 29 from 6pm-8pm: Life Size Clue- Grab a friend or spouse for a game of Clue: Life Size! Put your sleuthing skills to the test figuring out whodunit in this real life version of the classic board game. Makes a super fun (and free!) date night! Sign up is required.

 

Aug 6 from 6pm-8pm: Night Sky Paint Night- Sign up for a spot at our Night Sky Paint Night! Join us for a fun and relaxing evening as we create a galaxy scene on canvas! We will view a short tutorial and then let you create your own night sky scene. Seats are limited, so sign up early!
