Summer Planters

Thanks to the Friends of the Library for planting and caring for the planters in the front of the building!

Mission Statement

The primary purposes are to be of service to the Streator Public Library and to the community; to promote knowledge of the functions, resources, and needs of the Streator Public Library; to advance the intellectual and cultural growth of the community; and to assist in raising funds for special needs beyond the scope of the library budget.

Donations

Pictured are two chairs the Friends of the Library have donated to the library. The couch and chairs in the sun room are a few more examples.

They also donate funds to the summer reading program every year!
