Helen Krieger

Helen feels her biggest influence was having a very creative mother. "My Mom was constantly creating with what was around her & worked in a wide variety of mediums, as do I." Growing up Helen turned low self-esteem and a lack of self-confidence into a Passion, and in recent years has been a full-time artist gaining recognition through Local and State competitions.

Christian Landorf

Photographer

From a young age I’ve been a big history buff and found the rural landscape,  old, historic, and forgotten places intriguing.  If those places could talk  oh the stories they would  tell these are the thoughts I think of  often while capturing my photographs. From the beginning of my photography journey in 2015 Streator and its surrounding  area  have  always been a favorite of mine to photograph due to my family roots in the area.  Now a decade later  despite all the places I’ve been and photographed the Streator area is still one I travel around and photograph often there’s so many neat and intriguing places to capture. I  view my photography as an artistic way of capturing the past, present, and future   along with documenting and preserving the history  of what I capture  for years to come.  While there’s many mediums of art to express one’s artistic mind, I express it through how I capture and showcase my photography.

Nadler
Petit-Dieu

Acrylic Painter

Nate is a modern day artist swaying the pendulum of creativity between digital and traditional “fine” art. While acrylic painting is a staple to Nadler’s kit of skills, graphite pencils and ball point pens remain the artists preferred  choice of medium. On his journey to becoming a professional artist Nadler has been a graphic designer, art instructor and muralist with artistic credits strewn throughout the Miami-Dade and coral gables area before moving to Illinois.

Nate’s work on canvas hopes to inspire a deeper conversation within the viewer using ambiguous concepts such as love and anger as means to convey his own thoughts on the matter. These topics and more fuel his love for art as he continues to work on self expressive series such as “Flesh and Glass”
