Historian David Reed will discuss the Poundstone Civil War flag and its installation at the library, sharing the story of Sgt. George Poundstone's brave efforts to protect it during battle.

David Reed Presents: The Poundstone Flag on February 21st at 2:30 PM. Historian David Reed will present information about the Poundstone Civil War flag and its installation at the library. He will recount the story of Sgt. George Poundstone and his courageous attempts to protect the flag during battle. David will also be sharing about the Streatorland Historical Society's project to raise funds for a historical marker at Sgt. George Poundstone's burial site.
